I’ve been through Aberdeen a lot (being my local airport) and have had no serious problems. It has changed a lot in the past few years and is still changing so expect to see ongoing work when you go through. The only bad point for the airport is transport links. It’s only served by a single carrigeway road, which also goes to one of the main industrial estates in Aberdeen so traffic can back up very quickly and easily.
