Wanganui Airport
I am a regular user of Wanganui airport. Extensive renovations have been made to the airport terminal, especially to the interiors. There has been a complete revamp of passenger facilities, new cafe and seating, toilet facilities and the luggage collection is now under cover. A great improvement. Same good personal service that you would expect for a small provincial airport.
Wanganui Airport
Very pleasant small airport with flights throughout the day to Wellington and Auckland. The aircraft flown from here are Beechcraft so there is potentially a limited luggage capacity but as a regular traveler through this airport I have never experienced it. In 2007, the airport underwent major refurbishment both inside and out. Virtually all facilities have been improved, especially the cafe area. The airport is now very stylish with a clear Wanganui flavour to the decor.
Wanganui Travel
Nice little airport – small planes and very limited luggage availability on the plane – very little food availability but it is a small airport – check in is quick and easy and overall it is a small country town type airport – cute and quaint and close to the town so it is very convenient
Definite improvement – very stylish and completely contemporary and good food…where else is the cafe service so local the cafe staff write out their personal family fruit loaf recipe for their customer? Bigger airports could learn from this!
